With the approval of State issued permits, experienced Loggerhead Marinelife Center scouts will patrol our designated section of Juno Beach searching for sea turtles while visitors enjoy an informative presentation on the plight of sea turtles and an after-hours experience to view our current patients in our outdoor Sea Turtle Hospital. Once a loggerhead sea turtle is found and begins her egg-laying process, the group is then led down to the beach to witness this unforgettable experience.

Junior Veterinarian Lab accommodates up to 4 children in a 30 minute program, educating children on the process of sea turtle rescue to release. The Jr. Vets come to the aid of a green sea turtle replica and learn about common injuries and illnesses that affect these endangered animals.

Participants are asked to stop by the Marine Debris Sorting Station on the back deck of LMC to pick up cleanup supplies, head to the beach and conduct a cleanup, and bring back trash to the sorting station for a free T-shirt.

Food trucks of all tastes and cuisine roll into Downtown Abacoa’s Town Center Drive on the second Friday of every month. Feel free to bring chairs, blankets, tables, etc. A DJ will also be performing at the Abacoa Amphitheater.

Junior Veterinarian Lab accommodates up to 4 children in a 30 minute program, educating children on the process of sea turtle rescue to release. The Jr. Vets come to the aid of a green sea turtle replica and learn about common injuries and illnesses that affect these endangered animals.
